Here's a bit of trivia: petticoats have been around since before the year 1585! Do you know what that means? It means they work. What else do we still use from the 1500's? Fire? The wheel? I have another interesting fact: petticoats weren't used at all during and for awhile after WWII, due to rationing, but they were brought back in 1947 by
Christian Dior's New Look.
